Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is the most frequent peripheral nerve disorder in the human body. The symptoms are pain and numbness in the hand and fingers. The frequency with which Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is observed in the population is about three times higher in women and varies according to the work activity performed, sometimes  up to 60 cases per 100 workers can be observed in a particular kind ofworkers. In fact, the workers in the manufacturing, electronics, textile, food, footwear, leather goods sectors, as well as the workers concerned with packaging of parcels, hotel chefs and employees in public establishments are most often affected. In about 70% of cases it is bilateral, with the prevalence of the dominant hand.
